One teenager who had just celebrated her 18th birthday died after being shot while trying to prevent the gunmen breaking into the safe room in her home in Nahal Oz, close to the border with Gaza. Her family were held captive in the house and her father was taken hostage. The mother has been speaking about her family’s terrible ordeal.
